An everyday element of coexistence and of the ‘social contract’: there is a time when we wait for others to pass, because then comes a time when others wait for us to pass.

It is not so easy to express the sense of the contemporary. I find Matteo Cervone’s project interesting because, through the universal language of traffic lights, we arrive at a narrative that touches on equally universal themes.
In that little red, yellow or green man there is our whole existence with the contradictions we live with every day, in our time.
